**ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - UTILITY AND CONSTRUCTION**

Powerline Plus Ltd. is a utility contractor with a proud history established in 1990. We focus on three main operations, Electrical, Civil Construction and Engineering & Design. Powerline Plus Ltd. provides quality solutions to public utilities, municipalities and developers, as well as to industrial, national and international manufacturing companies across the GTA.

Administrative Assistants at Powerline Plus Ltd. perform a variety of clerical duties for various departments including but not limited to: Public Relations, Civil Construction, Electrical, HR and Environmental Health & Safety. Tasks include but are not limited to: scanning, copying, filing, typing correspondence, monitoring various spreadsheets and databases and reporting on discrepancies.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**

Completion of post-secondary in Office Administration or other related discipline

A minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Administrative Assistant required

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office required

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Construction Folder Close-Out; Creating a project folder at the beginning of each job and tracking and monitoring all pertinent project documentation for successful and timely project closeout submission
- Coordinating daily crew list with civil supervisory and managerial staff to send to clients for their reference
- Give client drawings and UPCMS sheets to the Project Estimator & Construction Support so material may be requisitioned through Powerline’s Procurement Department
- Once all pertinent project documents are attained, preparation of a job binder can begin purging old job binders when necessary
- Liaise with utility companies for locate requests
- Compile and send reports to primary Locate Service Providers for overdue locates
- Work diligently to ensure all permits and locates do not expire requesting permit extensions when necessary
- Responsible for sending completion of projects notifications and reports to various clients for project closeout
- Printing / Scanning / Filing / Photocopying and renaming of electronic files
- Support Departmental Supervisors/Managers with various projects and assignments
- Various administrative tasks
