**About the Role**:
Altaweld (1999) Inc. is a well-established and growing construction company seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented **Administrative Assistant / Receptionist** to join our team.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and visitors, while also providing critical administrative support to keep our office running efficiently. You’ll manage day-to-day tasks such as invoicing through **QuickBooks Online**, scheduling, and general office coordination.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet visitors and manage phone calls in a courteous, professional manner
- Create and send invoices, process payments and expenses using **QuickBooks Online**:

- Assist with **Accounts Receivable and Payable**, including job costing support
- Maintain organized filing systems (both paper and digital)
- Order and manage office supplies and ensure a tidy, efficient workspace
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, and job site appointments
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier packages
- Support the team with general administrative duties and office tasks as required

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience using **QuickBooks Online**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills—professional, friendly, and approachable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information

**Assets (Nice to Have)**:

- Experience in the construction or trades industry
- Familiarity with construction software or job tracking systems
- Understanding of basic permitting, subcontractor paperwork, or project coordination
