Job Summary
The Accounting Clerk-Patient Representative follows the patient account, from admission through to collection of payment.
Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated problem assessment skills
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Demonstrated individual leadership skills

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Grade 12 education
- Computerized accounting and Accounts Receivable experience, within last 5 years
- Cash handling experience, within last 5 years
- Account reconciliation experience, within last 5 years in a hospital preferred
- Able to deal well with a wide variety of people and situations.
- Self-starter and work independently with strong attention to details
- Deal with large volumes within specific time limitations.
