**General Responsibilities**:

- Supporting with legal requests including sending estimates to firms for CNRs
- Creating and updating patients' electronic health records
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments
- Verifying patient insurance
- Completing and submitting insurance forms as required
- Preparing correspondence between medical providers and their patients
- Liaising with Insurance Companies when needed
- Providing quality customer service to patients
**What You Offer**:

- Proven work experience as a medical receptionist or medical administrative assistant
- Hands on experience with medical software (OSCAR), and accounting software (QuickBooks)
- Experience with HCAI and Telus Health (preferred)
- Certification in medical administration is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet use
- Knowledge of healthcare operations
- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with medical and insurance legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-oriented skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial spirited, fast-paced, and changing work environment.
