**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Accounting and Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME)** to assist in the development and review of curriculum and course materials for our **Accounting and Payroll Diploma** program. The SME will collaborate with instructional designers and the academic team to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with current industry standards and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide expertise in **accounting and payroll** principles, practices, and regulations.
- Develop and review **course materials**, including lectures, assessments, and instructional guides.
- Ensure that the curriculum meets **industry standards** and complies with the latest **government regulations** for payroll and accounting.
- Work with instructional designers to integrate practical, real-world examples and scenarios into the course content.
- Stay updated on developments in accounting and payroll laws and practices, such as **tax regulations** and **compliance requirements**.
- Offer guidance on **software tools** used in payroll and accounting, such as **QuickBooks**, **Sage**, or **ADP**.

**Qualifications**:

- **Certified Professional Accountant (CPA)** designation or equivalent experience in accounting and payroll.
- Minimum of **5 years of experience** in the field of accounting and payroll.
- Strong understanding of **Canadian accounting standards** and **payroll legislation**.
- Experience in **curriculum development** or instructional design is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $90.00-$100.00 per hour
