**Job brief**

We are looking for a hybrid role of a Bookkeeper/Administrative Coordinator to join our team.

Administrative Coordinator responsibilities include supporting regular office operations, maintaining records, and some client services management. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Ultimately, you will provide administrative support to key team members and ensure all daily procedures run smoothly. An effective communicator who speaks clearly and is personable and kind when interacting with others.

Bookkeeping responsibilities include basic invoicing and light inventory upkeep. In addition, you will work closely with our accounting team to create and maintain financial reports, ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to record all day-to-day inventory and financial transactions of our company accurately.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain confidential financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Enter data, maintain records, and create regularly scheduled reports and financial statements
- Maintain physical and digital client records
- Manage and order office supplies
- Organize company documents into updated filing systems
- Prepare and reconcile invoices, update inventory software in QuickBooks and SOS Inventory

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper, Administrative Coordinator, or similar role
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Intermediate math skills
- Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite and QuickBooks. Experience with SOS inventory is a bonus but not required
- Familiarities with office equipment
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Solid time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service orientation
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills to handle correspondence, speak with clients and deal with the public
- High school diploma. Qualification in Bookkeeping or Office Administration or relevant work experience

**Location, Commitments & Benefits**
- The permanent full-time position is at our bright and spacious company headquarters in Mississauga, ON. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Free parking.
