Receiver and Inventory Coordinator

As a Receiver and Inventory Coordinator you will be responsible for receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies. This role ensures the accurate and timely processing of incoming goods, maintains optimal inventory levels, and coordinates with various departments to fulfill their supply needs efficiently.
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Receiving and Inspection**:
- Receive incoming supplies, inspect for accuracy, quality, and condition.
- Verify packing lists against purchase orders and report discrepancies.
- Properly document and record received items in the inventory system.
**2. Inventory Management**:
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary to prevent shortages.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
**3. Storage and Organization**:
- Organize and store in designated areas, ensuring they are easily accessible.
- Implement and maintain an efficient inventory storage system.
- Ensure proper labeling and categorization of all items.
**4. Coordination and Communication**:
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and other departments to understand and meet their needs.
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding delivery schedules, order discrepancies, and returns.
- Provide regular updates on inventory status and potential supply issues to management.
**5. Reporting**:
- Generate and maintain inventory and receive reports.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
- Assist in preparing reports for audits and compliance reviews.
6. Compliance and Safety
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management and receiving.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inventory and receiving areas.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to take direction and follow through on tasks to completion.
- Strong comprehensive skills.
- Type 50+ WPM.
- Proven experience in inventory management, receiving, or a similar role.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Working Conditions: 40% of time in warehouse or storage environment.
