**ISL’s Proposal/Production Team***: supports all offices and all disciplines of business at ISL. Our objectives are to increase the win rate, delivering quality, creative and compliant proposals. The key to our team’s success is:

While the proposal coordinator may be the lead on the pursuit for our team, they are not responsible for all aspects of a proposal from start to finish. **Your cover letter must demonstrate**:

- Your approach to project and time management.
- Your approach to problem solving, showing how you change, adapt and delegate.
- Your ability to prioritize and organize work in an environment with multiple deliverables with overlapping schedules.
- Your ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines while still maintaining a high attention to detail.
- Your ability to communicate effectively with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Your willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours to meet deadlines. As well as, occasional travel for training.

**Your resume should show us**:

- Degree/Diploma in Marketing, English, Business, Communications, Liberal Arts or relevant work experience.
- Proposal development experience, working in a fast pace environment creating multiple complex proposals.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) with a proven ability to understand the creation and use of templates.

**Bonus points for**:

- Experience in an AEC related Industry.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

**Responsibilities**:
Supporting a variety of proposal teams, you understand the unique and diverse needs of each discipline lead and project manager and can adapt your communication style as required. Plugging into a variety of proposal teams, you can adapt your communication style to work efficiently with a range of personalities and workflows. As an adrenaline junkie, you thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Collaborating closely with the team, your understanding of the business and the client helps you translate ‘engineer-speak’ into winning proposals.

While no two days will look the same, here is what you can expect to do:

- Review RFPs and provide high-level summaries to all stakeholders.
- Ensure proposals are properly created, planned, and organized by understanding the specific requirements of each RFP.
- Implement and meet proposal deadlines (internal and external) by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, meetings, approvals, etc.
