- Your ability to communicate effectively with strong verbal and written communication skills.

**Your resume should show us**:

- 3+ years of related experience in a similar role. Experience in an AEC related industry would be an asset.
- Post secondary education in a relevant field, or relevant work experience.
- Proposal development experience in a similar fast-paced environment creating and coordinating multiple proposals with varying complexity.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) with a proven ability to understand the creation and use of templates.

**Responsibilities**:
Plugging into a variety of proposal teams, you can adapt your communication style to work efficiently with a range of personalities and workflows. As an adrenaline junkie, you thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Collaborating closely with the team, your understanding of the business and the client helps you translate ‘engineer-speak’ into winning proposals.
While no two days will look the same, here is what you can expect to do:

- Review RFXs and provide high-level summaries to stakeholders.
- Prepare proposal documents, including the necessary planning and organization elements, by understanding the specific requirements of each RFX.
- Implement and meet proposal deadlines (internal and external) by establishing priorities and target dates for milestones, meetings, approvals, and most importantly, the client deadline.
- Coordinate and collaborate with all levels of proposal contributors.
- Identify, delegate, and assist with sourcing non-technical writing requirements for proposal sections including: qualification summaries, project descriptions, team descriptions, value-add and other corporate pieces.
- Ensure proposals adhere to the company’s editorial and brand standards and reflect a high level of professionalism and quality.
- Ensure standardized components of the proposal are kept up to date (CVs, project sheets, etc.).
