Ottawa, Canada Ottawa-Carleton Association for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OCAPDD) Full time

OCAPDD/Open Hands provides support to hundreds of persons with developmental disabilities, in every aspect of life whether seeking work opportunities, securing living arrangements or dealing with day-to-day tasks. Since fully a third of OCAPDD's clients are also affected by physical disabilities and other medical considerations, the scope of the organization's support is in direct response to level of need.

OCAPDD's and Open Hands' management team oversees the operation of several residences, day programs and support services, which in turn are staffed by several hundred full-time and part-time employees who support individuals living either in family settings or independently. Residential programs are open 365 days a year, with night and relief staff playing a crucial role. A director is on call at all times.

A volunteer board of directors, which includes parents of persons with developmental disabilities, ensures the continued health of the Association.

**Responsibilities**:
Addressing employee complaints/concerns

Taking care of internal and external visitor access control and registration

Office supply order and distribution

New hire set up, including ID card preparation and data entry to the security system, parking passes, computer distribution, etc.

Maintain office operational services, including coffee/water service, plant service, first aid and office cleaning service, etc.

Office admin document filing and updating

Asset management, including all computer distribution and assets returns, assets disposal and assets inventory checking and documentation

Mailing service, including receiving and sending both domestic and international mails and shipment

Be a point of contact for internal teams and partners.

Coordinate office leasing, renovation, construction project with operation team in Canada.

**Salary**: $42,158.00-$63,446.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
