- Work to retain, grow and engage the membership
- Help implement communications and membership plan
- Run successful events
- Help maintain and increase association revenue

**Key Relationships**
- Reports to the Director of Membership and Communications
- Works on varying tasks with the Administrative and Accounting Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:
**Social Media and Communications**
- Execute a results-driven social media strategy in collaboration with the Director of Membership and Communications
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms including member spotlights
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
- Attend all LHBA events as required and produce live social media content.
- Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
- Collaborate with the Director of Membership and Communications to create a social media calendar.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics to identify where marketing budget is most effectively utilized
- Assist in the development and management of social media marketing
- Support the Director of Membership and Communications in the execution of the membership strategy
- Support the Director of Membership and Communications in the production and distribution of LHBA’s semi-annual Signature magazine

**Events and Membership Support**
- Plan and coordinate LHBA monthly events: room layout, equipment, seating, scripting, prep with MC, sourcing of entertainment, photographer, presenters, display, recognition of volunteers and sponsors. Ensures recognition of all sponsors and volunteers are carried out appropriately to LHBA professional standards
- Responsible for logistics for all monthly member events including: name tag preparation, registration lists, and having all signage ready,
- Support all LHBA committees where required
- Work with the Director of Membership and Communication to establish a new member welcome process
- Work with Administrative and Accounting Coordinator as well as the Director of Membership and Communications on annual membership renewal campaign and efforts to retain members
- Support the Director of Membership and Communications in the management of the membership committee
- Collaborate with the Director of Membership and Communications on membership drive events in surrounding communities
- Support the Director of Membership and Communications and partner event company for the LHBA’s two annual gala events
- Support in the preparation and execution of annual events including LHBA’s Parade of Renovations, golf tournament, soccer tournament, curling tournament, and pickleball tournament. As well as future Women In Construction events

All other duties as assigned.

**Experience/Qualifications/Skills**:

- Proficiency with major social media platorms and social media management tools
- Knowledge of paid digital campaigns through social media
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and Wordpress
- Proficient in the use of Canva
- Comfortable with Google tools including: Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Sheets
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
