Receptionist/administrative Assistant

**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence, along with assisting in accounts payable/receivable.
- Provide excellent customer and employee service by addressing client/employee needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with administrative tasks including managing office supplies and maintaining equipment.
- Assist both human resources and dispatch department with clerical duties.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and effective communication.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
- Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and document management.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and managing multi-line phone systems is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (required)
