As the first point of contact, Administrative Assistant plays a valuable role and is responsible for ensuring exceptional service through greeting residents, staff, visitors and as well as general administrative support.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide a friendly and approachable image as the first point of contact
- Maintain a welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and visitors while using compassion when dealing with difficult situations
- Manage incoming calls and transfer to appropriate individual
- Maintaining resident services and identify areas for improvements
- Respond to resident inquiries promptly
- Assist with coordination of move ins
- Operate and maintain office equipment
- General administrative support; documentation, minutes, mail/courier, office supply inventory, completion of reference check documentation
- Arrange tours of the building for families
- Support staff meetings/family council meetings
- Other duties as assigned to support operational requirements

**Qualifications and Experience**
- One (1) year experience as a Administrative Assistant or similar role is preferred
- Completion of post-secondary administration program is an asset
- Experience in a residential care setting is an asset
- Demonstrated excellent client service skills
- Superior interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff and visitors
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrating strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong computer literacy including effective working skills with Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
