The success of the company has allowed it to expand its workforce and we are currently seeking a **Human Resources Coordinator** to join our team.

**Job Summary: -**

**Duties and Responsibilities: -**
- Respond to internal and external HR related queries or requests and provide assistance.
- Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person.
- Maintain records of employee data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates, etc.) in employee files and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.
- Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits, etc.)
- Assist supervisors in performance management procedures.
- Act as first point of contact with regards to policies, compensation and benefits, recruitment inquiries for managers, employees, and potential recruits.
- Facilitate in the enrollment and updating of benefits for existing staff.
- Participate in annual compensation review process for employees, including communication, administrative changes, and documentation.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc., and maintain the team’s agenda.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars
- Perform orientations, onboarding, and update records with new hires.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and support other functions as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills: -**
- 2 -3 Years of related experience as an HR Coordinator or administrative position.
- Experience with benefits and claims administration.
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
- Knowledge of federal and Alberta employment standards.
- Knowledge of current HR theories and best practices.
- Strong ability in using MS Office.
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems.
- Ability to work with ATS and Payroll softwares.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
