Office Administrator

**Job Overview**
The Office Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient collection and entry of our financial information by handling administrative tasks, serving as a point of contact for in-person tenants, vendors, and data entry of financial information. The role is to support department managers and report to the Finance Officer. Responsibilities include managing Accounts receivable (tenant rents), maintaining financial records, and assisting with financial reporting. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable (tenant rent).
- Record keeping of property utilities in excel as received.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to assist management in decision-making processes.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary data and analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs and provide guidance on budgetary matters.
- Support the implementation of new financial systems or software as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Training or education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members across various departments.
- Strong understanding of challenges faced by urban Indigenous tenants.
Pay: $54,508.00-$71,801.00 per year
