Job Summary:
We are looking for an Assistant System Administrator to provides assistance with managing and maintaining the organization's computer systems and networks. This role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software, as well as communicating with other departments, 3rd party providers, and supporting end-users.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, servers, and networks
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Assist in monitoring system performance and implementing system upgrades and patches
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer hardware, software, and networks
- Document technical procedures and configurations
- Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Participate in IT projects as assigned by the Systems Administrator
- Research products, communicate with vendors, procure, implement, and maintain hardware and software inventory
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in system administration

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting various hardware and software, peripherals, and office products
- Experience with providing technical support in a professional environment
- Networking knowledge and experience (networking protocols, devices, services, and tools)
- Working knowledge of Windows Servers and clients, familiarity with Linux servers
- Strong understanding of security principals, procedures, and best practices; Experience with security and monitoring tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment when necessary
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience with scripting languages
- Cloud technologies: AWS and Microsoft Azure/Office 360

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
