**The Role**:
The Coordinator, Permits and Foundations is responsible for the coordination with architects (internal and external) to ensure all information is received and packaged to submit permits on time. The Coordinator, Permits is also responsible for the generation and review of foundation cut sheets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Examine and review all incoming requested sitings for Engineer and Control Architect approval.
- Coordinate and review architectural drawings to ensure that all documentation is complete and complies with submission requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes, zoning ordinances, and other legal regulations.
- Attend and adapt to numerous and varying policies and procedures required by municipalities within the Division.
- Coordinate the revision process of working drawings, structural revisions, municipal review comments, subcontractor revisions, and provide updated drawings to Construction.
- Monitor consultant workloads with other divisions and escalate to Manager if necessary.
- Update/maintain files on NSEWeb and DropBox (Lot specific plans and block plans).
- Submit cheque requests for building permits.
- Submit permits into the applicable Town/City portal and upload information into internal databases.
- Maintain SharePoint library for master certified plans, city redline notes and any other relevant files.
- Manage map creator and generate various site maps (starts, closings, permit status).
- Perform other duties as required.
- Create/check lot specific foundation cut sheets using custom software.
- Collaborate with the Automation team to optimize the custom software.
- Taking photos of each model at various stages of construction and catalogue for reference.
- Collaborate with Architecture department to gather information and resolve issues with the drawings or scopes.

**You will bring**:

- University degree or College Diploma related to Construction Engineering Technician, Civil Engineering Technology, or similar field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within a development or construction environment
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a keen focus on producing accurate and high caliber work
- Excellent communication and analytical critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated and excels both in a team and independently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency working in Microsoft Word, AutoCAD, Excel, and SharePoint programs
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Requires a reliable vehicle with a G class driving permit
