**Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk**

Myers Hunt Club Volkswagen - located at 2655 Bank St. - is looking to fill the position of **AR/AP Clerk.**

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Process accounting files for various departments.
- Responsible for cash balancing and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare and post daily deposits.
- Process accounts receivables and collections.
- Initiate credit and reference checks with credit institutions when necessary.
- Process accounts payable invoices; reconciliation of supplier statements; payment of supplier statements.
- Liaise with customers to collect arrears receivable.
- Process and reconcile receivables from manufacturer.
- Maintain sublet repairs, sublet accounting schedule and sublet items such as towing charges and vehicle rental charges.
- Assist in preparation of monthly statements through reconciliation of various accounts.
- Assist in preparing fiscal year-end working papers for auditors.
- Attend all department meetings.
- Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.
- Helping out with any month-end duties (i.e. warranty, and insurance/loyalty submissions)
- Other responsibilities if needed to assist the Controller

**Applicants must have**:

- Experience working within an office with accounting functions
- Excellent organization and keen attention to detail, and good communication skills
- Must be able to maintain strict deadlines
- Have the motivation and drive to work independently with little supervision
- Have demonstrated reliability in attendance
- Experience working in the automotive industry is considered an asset, but is not required

**Salary**: $38,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
