The main role of the Sales Strategy Manager is to act as a liaison between the Marketing and the sales teams, in order to bring to life the marketing strategies, keeping in mind the core needs of our sales team and customer team.

**What are we looking for?**
- 5-7 years of combined work experience in marketing, category management, or Sales/ account Management.
- University degree (required), preferably in business/ Marketing/ Brand Management.
- Strong analytical thinking & problem-solving skills are a requirement
- Sales experience / Prior direct account management preferred
- Demonstrated ability in crafting effective customer presentations
- Strategic agility and organizational agility, evidenced by a track record of navigating complex businesses with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities and having been able to influence and set priorities and drive teams to consensus and action.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Marketing/ Sales expertise (required)
- Experience leading cross functional teams (required)
- Project Management skills (required)
- Previous experience managing Key accounts
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
- Understanding of petcare market and dynamics is an asset

**What would be your primary responsibilities?**

**Sales Strategy**
- Work closely with Sales Director, Regional and Key account managers, Marketing Director, Portfolio Managers, Category Manager, E-com Manager, Finance, Forecast and Supply to translate marketing strategies into meaningful and actionable sales programs
- Responsible for developing customer facing presentations to support product innovations/launches and marketing programs.
- Collaborate intimately with field teams, regularly visit veterinary clinics and attend trade shows, to ensure clear connectivity with Sales, and access to key market insights that can be leveraged in action plans and selling decks.

S**ales planning/ Annual business planning process**
- Leads the entire planning process for Royal Canin Canada, and liaises with the North American Lead, in order to drive consistency and a harmonized planning process across the region.
- Leads the planning process for the Veterinary channel (business review, strategic plan development, budgeting) across the One Demand team (Sales & Marketing functions), through close collaboration with Sales, Marketing and other key functional areas.

**Internal and external Communication**
- Acts of Key Point of contact for all communications to Sales team (independent sales & key accounts), including communication of marketing programs, execution details, timelines, customer specific initiatives.
- Leads development of all external marketing/ sales communications (distributor communication, clinic communication), ensuring all programs & communications are as integrated and connected as possible.

**Strategic Revenue management/ Pricing lead**
- Active member of the Royal Canin pricing council - represents the Veterinary team, by providing insights and strategic direction.
- Leads pricing strategy for the Veterinary pillar
- Development of price lists by distributors/ customers, maintains and updates as needed (SKU changes, innovations, etc ), develops communications and training to best support the field teams.
- Gathers insights from the market, analyses and monitors impact of pricing strategy on portfolio performance.
- Evaluate activity ROI and recommend future investment opportunities
