Our client for over 20 years has been a leader in the roofing industry. This is a family run business who genuinely cares about their customers and their internal teams. It is not uncommon for an employee to be with this organization for ten plus years. Our client hosts employee golf tournaments, they host Christmas parties and BBQ’s. The environment is casual and the teams are close.

**The Position**

Our client’s Southwestern Ontario office is expanding, and they are in search of their newest team member to mentor and motivate their outside sales team.

This is a critical role. They are looking to have someone who can work independently and is technically minded. You will be working closely with the senior executive team, and you will be taking a leadership role managing a team of 20 plus sales representatives. We are looking for a highly organized and conscientious individual to contribute to the success of our winning team.

**Your Tasks will Include**:

- Mentoring the 20 plus sales representatives and teaching them the ropes.
- Hiring, firing, and training new sales team members
- Monitoring the KPI’s for the sales team and ensuring they have everything they need to succeed
- Collaborating with sales team to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
- Creating and delivering qualified opportunities to the sales team complete with calls-to-action, dates, profile information, and sources
- Organizing and creating content for sales meetings and producing sales reports
- Actively participating in achieving the overall goals of the company
- Responsible for new Construction Sales and continually improving sales numbers
- Reading Blueprints and visiting Instillation sites
- Solid experience in overseeing and influencing sales teams
- Able to work well in a team environment and you possess excellent active listening skills. You are a strong written communicator
- Capable of building rapport and maintaining lasting relationships with the sales team
- Previous managerial experience with an excellent track record of developing and inspiring sales representatives
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey information during a sales meeting in an engaging and persuasive way
- The ability to read blueprints and perform trigonometry as well as measuring surface area
- Exceptional verbal communication and time management skills
- Able to perform calculations and mathematical figures
- Experience in the Construction or Trades Business highly preferred. Business to consumer experience an asset.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
