First Nations Insurance (FNIS) is growing and seeking an Administrative Assistant to join us in our Saskatoon office. We are looking for a career driven individual who is focused on growing their insurance and pension industry knowledge and experience.

As an **Administrative Assistant, **you will support our Group Pension clients and Advisors by verifying correct information on documentation, handling client inquiries, entering data and maintaining required filing systems.

**Your role as an Individual Pension Advisor with FNIS will include**:

- Supporting existing group pension clients, following up on outstanding items/documentation that require additional clarification
- Answering queries related to Pension and directing calls, escalating as required
- Reconciling group pension remittances and communicating with clients on discrepancies
- Maintaining documentation and filing systems for Insurance and Pension (both hard copy and electronic)
- Coordinate and book meetings for Pension Advisors
- Maintain and update procedure and process notes applicable to the role
- Responsible for minute taking, getting minutes approved by the Supervisor and filing
- Perform receptionist duties as required
- Other duties as assigned

**Role Requirements**:

- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Knowledge of computers and software products
- Organized, trustworthy, respectful, diplomatic, and approachable
- Excellent communication skills internally and externally, i.e. Staff, Clients, Pension Administrators, Plan Members, the Insurances Carrier(s) and the General Public
- Professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with highly confidential personal, financial and medical information
- Ability to problem solve to resolve concerns and identify matters that need to be escalated

**Educational Requirements**
- Office or Administration Certificate or Diploma, or two years' experience working in an office environment
- Experience of knowledge of pension plans or human resources would be an asset
