THE ROLE


As the IT Strategy and Planning Coordinator, you will develop and manage Information Services (IS) Division communications strategy and plan for employee awareness of impending changes. You will plan, administer, and lead development and production of communications on behalf of the IS Division, such as but not limited to, monthly newsletter, senior management reports and presentations, strategy documents and returns. You will develop reports, presentations, strategy documents, divisional communications, broadcast emails, policy documents and training documents as per divisional and project needs.

The IT Strategy and Planning Coordinator will design and develop communication materials for assigned projects and clients, in collaboration with project and program team. You will plan, evaluate, develop and administer methods for collecting data in IS Division (surveys, questionnaires, opinion polls) to gather feedback.

You manage schedule, membership, and coordinate recurring senior management meetings and write, review and keep track of post-meeting materials and action logs. In addition, they liaise with corporate communications to ensure consistency of IT communications and plans with the Organization.


QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED


Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma or certificate in Business Management, Administration, Communication, Computer Science or a related field, AND several years of experience in business strategy or a related field

Experience

In conveying information to a variety of audiences
In creating and analyzing variety of business and IT communications materials and documentation
In developing a communication plans and materials
In coordinating activities, schedules and deliverables
In preparing reports and presentations
In organizing events/meetings/committees
In minutes taking
In creating Records of Decisions (ROD) and discussions
In analyzing and synthesizing data and information
In interpreting, developing and applying policies, procedures and regulations
In developing divisional communications
In developing client relationship management plans/strategies

OTHER INFORMATION


This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
