Alta Planning + Design Canada Inc is a subsidiary of APD with its Canadian headquarters in Ottawa and an office in Toronto.

**Day to Day**:
**Requirements**:
**Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, business or a related field of study.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
- General understanding of the proposal development process for private and public agencies.
- Exhibits strong initiative, ability to manage competing priorities, multiple simultaneous projects involving cross-functional teams and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Exhibits accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel or similar programs.

**Preferred**
- Experience in a professional services firm.
- Understanding of the planning and design process and enterprise-wide management tools (ex, Deltek Vision).

Alta offers a flexible, hybrid work schedule where most employees work from home three days per week. In-office days support our collaborative culture, one of our core values. **Compensation**

The pay range for this job in
**Ottawa** is
**$60,000-$75,000 **annually. Placement within the range is based upon experience, skill-sets, and qualifications.

- **Medical, Dental and Vision**: Alta offers a competitive and comprehensive health, prescription, vision, and dental plan through Ascension. Alta contributes 75% of the employee’s elected coverage for the plan that encompasses medical, vision, and dental, which includes coverage for partners, children, and families. The plan also includes a travel benefit plan that covers emergency services when traveling outside of Canada.
- **Life Insurance**: Alta pays 100% of the premium for life and AD&D, equal to your base compensation
- **Pension Plan**: Alta offers a pension place with an employer match of up to 4%.
- **Paid Time Off**:Alta offers employees between 21 and 25 days per year depending on their length of employment with Alta (all new hires start at the 21 day accrual). PTO hours roll over from year to year, and employees may carry up to a balance of 250 at any given time. PTO accrual begins immediately.
- **Holidays**: Alta offers 9 paid holidays during the calendar year including New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Boxing Day, and 2 floating holidays to be used at your discretion.
