Who we are...
At Ecosystem we believe we should be accountable for results. That’s why we've integrated engineering and construction, seeing our projects through from design concept to implementation and commissioning. And that's how we can efficiently solve complex energy and decarbonization challenges in the built environment.
Here are some of the projects we've been working on recently: University of Toronto, Humber College, and Barry Callebaut.
Who you are…
You are a passionate sourcing expert. You are committed to aligning the interests and profiles of candidates with the needs of Ecosystem and our clients. You’re a natural collaborator who ensures the recruitment process is both fun and efficient. You bring curiosity and creativity, enabling you to understand complex markets and develop innovative strategies.
What you will do...- As a member of a 4-person team dedicated to talent acquisition, you will have a direct impact on our recruitment objectives from the moment you join us. You will be Ecosystem’s sourcing specialist, while actively contributing to all stages of the recruitment process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Attract high-quality talent: recruit approximately 40 specialized profiles each year across Canada and the United States.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for diverse roles in engineering, construction, sales, IT, marketing, and more.
- Build and maintain talent pools that align with our needs and our growing markets.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key candidates, and transform passive candidates into actively engaged candidates.
- Collaborate closely with managers to strengthen internal partnerships and optimize recruitment outcomes.
- Contribute to strengthening our employer brand by working with the marketing and communications team on social media campaigns and recruitment initiatives.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout all your interactions.
- To excel in this role, we are seeking these qualities:
- Proven experience: at least 5 years in highly competitive markets, with expertise in candidate sourcing.
- Bilingual: Fluency in English and French for effective collaboration with colleagues and candidates in Canada and the United States.
- Exemplary relationship-building and communication skills.
- Organized and creative: able to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively.
- Sense of urgency: able to identify key moments to act swiftly and efficiently.
- Curious and passionate: with a constant drive to learn and innovate in your field.
- Proficiency with recruitment tools: expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter and familiarity with ATS systems (such as Lever).
- Annual base salaries benchmarked and reviewed annually.
- Generous paid time off package starting with 6 weeks per year (3 weeks of vacation per year, 5 personal days, office closure between Dec 25 and Jan 1 and 10 statutory holidays).
- Options for sabbaticals, part-time work arrangements, and time-off for personal projects.
- Complete Group Insurance offer (health, visual, dental, life insurance, AD&D) with employer contribution of 60%.
- Easy access to health and support through Telemedicine and Employee Assistance Program.
- Employer contribution to Retirement Savings Plan.
- More than a working tool, cell phones are provided for professional and personal use.
- Mature Health & Safety practices, policies and training making us leaders in this space.
- Comprehensive internal technical training offers and rich network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide technical mentorship and fast track learning.
- Reimbursement program for external training and access to French and English group courses.
- Real flexible approach to work philosophy: employees are trusted to choose what works best for them mindful of responsibilities and deliverables.
- When you decide to work from the office, a modern and bright office space in central location waits for you.
- All-inclusive annual company-wide gathering celebrating our people and culture in style. Various committees are in place with employees (DEI, CSR, Innovation, Social Committee, etc.) to keep our culture thriving.
