Executive Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking an Executive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the search and hiring process for executive-level roles across our global footprint.
Job OverviewThe Executive Talent Acquisition Specialist will be accountable for owning and managing executive talent acquisition across our business lines and corporate/control functions. You will provide strategic insights and advice by partnering with hiring executives on complex, specialized leadership needs.
You will perform in-depth research to identify passive talent prospects and review candidate applications to present diverse and highly qualified candidate slates. You will take a proactive, data-driven approach to source and attract executive-level candidates through various channels, building a pipeline of candidates for our executive talent pool.
Responsibilities- Owning and managing executive talent acquisition across our business lines and corporate/control functions
- Partnering with hiring executives on complex, specialized leadership needs
- Performing in-depth research to identify passive talent prospects
- Reviewing and screening candidate applications to present diverse and highly qualified candidate slates
- Taking a proactive, data-driven approach to source and attract executive-level candidates
- Building a pipeline of candidates for our executive talent pool
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of sourcing and recruiting executive-level talent using research-driven, proactive methodologies
- 5-7 years of experience in an executive recruitment role at complex and/or large companies; executive search firm experience is strongly preferred
- Exceptional communications skills with a strong ability to strategically influence and persuade senior leaders
- Results-oriented and able to effectively execute in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically and cultivate networks and relationships
- An undergraduate degree, preferably with a focus on business/human resources and/or work-related experience

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your location and experience.
