The Position:

Drive volume growth and sustainable sales results with new and existing customers.

Specific Accountabilities:
  • Live Core Values
  • Sustainable achievement of the planned SBU targets and initiatives
  • Specific Account Management and reporting
  • Develop relationships with new potential customers
  • Complete and detailed hand offs for new item sales to Sales Operations
  • Align customer needs with Cardinal Capabilities
  • Promote Cardinal through special events (Store openings, Customer events, Vendor shows…etc.)
  • Manage customer trade budgets/programs
  • Communicate forecasts through internal departments
  • Execute programs and campaigns to maximize sales performance of both branded and private label products
  • Create and execute annual account plans (reviewed and updated on a monthly basis)
  • Continued research & sharing of current customers and competitive vendors’ products, programs and plans
  • Ongoing personal sales training
  • Ensure Cardinal has established relationships high and wide beyond NAM
  • Timely management of documented contracts and contract renewals
  • Timely/documented pricing and contract management status in internal tracking system(s)
  • Proactive and documented private label liability account management (expectation is no Cardinal assumed liabilities)
  • Proactive activities based on monthly sales forecast reporting and budget gap analysis
  • Customer forecast input for Production with signed Cardinal documentation
  • Demonstrated Servant Leadership
  • Continuous improvement in company policies and procedures
  • Acts within the company philosophy
  • Follow company policies and procedures
Ideal Qualifications:
  • University or College level graduate
  • Previous Senior Sales and Sales Management Experience
  • Strategic Account Management
  • Communicates at the executive level - written and verbal
  • Strong business acumen and results oriented
