Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range for this position, estimated to be between $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As an Executive Assistant with the City of Iqaluit, you will provide administrative support to the Mayor, Council, Chief Administrative Officer, and City Clerk. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing routine and confidential administrative services
  • Assisting with the preparation of materials and information for Council and the Chief Administrative Officer
  • Communicating effectively with staff and external stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible office experience, including 2 years as an executive assistant
  • Knowledge of municipal administration and secretarial services
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to adapt to and assist in implementing changes in organizational structure
