About the Role

The Government of Nunavut seeks a skilled Treasury Analyst to join its team. As a key contributor to the government's investment and debt management strategy, this role plays a major part in managing daily cash, investment, and borrowing positions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical and research support to senior officials on banking, borrowing, and investment activities.
  • Forecast, monitor, and invest cash resources, administering debt financing as needed.
  • Prepare policy documents and research materials for stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will typically hold a recognized undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Banking, Economics, Statistics, or Business, along with some experience working in banking, money, or capital markets.

Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, and languages is an asset, as is experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment.

What We Offer

The Government of Nunavut offers a competitive salary of $97,372 to $110,510 per year, 37.5 hours/week, plus a Northern Allowance of $16,008 per year.

We prioritize creating a representative workforce and welcome applications from Nunavut Inuit who self-identify as being enrolled under the Nunavut Agreement.
