Executive Special Events Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Special Events Coordinator to join our team at SUNRAY GROUP OF HOTELS INC. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile events and conferences, utilizing your expertise in event planning, marketing, and communication.
About the RoleAs an Executive Special Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting conference and meeting services or special events, developing marketing and communication plans, and determining requirements for hospitality services. You will also arrange for and manage contracts for these services, assist in budget preparation, and coordinate media services.
You will have the opportunity to plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services, trade shows and exhibits, and VIP arrangements. Additionally, you will develop policies and procedures, manage event logistics, and identify human resources requirements.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines. You should have experience with MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as strong computer and technology knowledge.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, such as hotel, motel, or resort management, is required. A College/CEGEP degree is also necessary.
BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health benefits, a dental plan, and vision care benefits.
