Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Barrick. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities, including supervising maintenance personnel, coordinating maintenance schedules, and implementing safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Monitor and report on maintenance metrics, including equipment performance, maintenance costs, and safety incidents.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of maintenance personnel.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a maintenance or operations role, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.
- Proven track record of supervising and coordinating maintenance activities, including experience with maintenance scheduling, safety protocols, and equipment performance monitoring.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize maintenance activities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
