Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Barrick. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and driving continuous improvement in our maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks and minimize downtime
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a maintenance or operations role, with a strong background in supervisory or management responsibilities
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and process optimization
  • Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, and experience in maintaining a safe working environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various work sites as required
