Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Barrick. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and providing leadership and guidance to our maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of all equipment and facilities.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with production and other operations.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of maintenance materials and services.
- Monitor and report on maintenance performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a maintenance or operations role, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.
- Proven track record of leadership and supervision, with experience in developing and implementing maintenance plans and schedules.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
