Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Barrick. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our underground and surface fixed equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and procedures.
- Ensure that all workers follow proper safety protocols and use necessary protective equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to support production targets and ensure equipment availability.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Provide training and guidance to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Monitor and report on maintenance activities, including accident investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Minimum 10 years of trade-related experience, with a trades ticket preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
- U/G Common Core certification is preferred.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Able to work safely and effectively in an underground mining environment.
- Demonstrated good attendance and performance records.
