Maintenance Supervisor

Barrick is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our underground and surface fixed equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that all workers adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and report on maintenance activities, including costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Minimum 10 years of trade-related experience, with a preference for Trades Ticket holders.
- Previous supervisory experience is highly desirable.
- U/G Common Core certification is an asset.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work safely and effectively in an underground mining environment.
- Demonstrated good attendance and performance records.
