About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at DMC Recruitment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in managing a successful branch with 15+ employees, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Branch Operations: Assist in managing branch activities to ensure seamless operations of all departments, maintaining high standards of customer service and employee satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement processes to enhance customer satisfaction and employee job satisfaction, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Foster effective communication and teamwork between departments, promoting a positive company culture and collaborative environment.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with the branch manager to identify needs for continued branch success, including staffing, products, technology, marketing, and other areas.
  • Inter-Branch Collaboration: Collaborate with other branches to support company goals and objectives, driving business success and growth.
  • Health and Safety: Commit to maintaining high health and safety standards, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience in the building materials, construction industry, or distribution environments.
  • Performance-Driven Culture: Experience working within a performance-driven culture that strives to exceed customer expectations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style, with the ability to work with different personalities and promote a positive company culture.
