Job Summary

GROVEHILL INVESTMENTS INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure accurate and timely food preparation.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient resource allocation.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • Work in a fast-paced food service environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality food delivery.
