Job Summary

GROVEHILL INVESTMENTS INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure quality and consistency.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to manage food service operations effectively.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position with a 30 to 40 hour workweek.
  • Work in a fast-paced food service environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
