About the Role

GROVEHILL INVESTMENTS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that all staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

Estimate and Manage Resources

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage resources to ensure that all food and supplies are available when needed.

Lead and Motivate the Team

Lead and motivate the food service team to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

Ensure Quality and Safety Standards

Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and that all staff are aware of and adhere to safety procedures.

Prepare and Submit Reports

Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.

About You
  • Education and Experience

You will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate, and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service role.

Language and Work Environment

You will be fluent in English, and will be working in a fast-paced food service environment with a team of 3-4 people.

Work Schedule

You will be working 38 to 40 hours per week, and will be required to be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the business.
