Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at VC Retail Consulting. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, including scheduling appointments, answering telephone calls and electronic enquiries, and compiling data and statistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective administrative operations.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients and stakeholders.
  • Answer telephone calls and electronic enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages.
  • Knowledge of diversity and cross-cultural training.
