About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Hometown Furniture & Appliances (Penticton) Ltd. in Penticton, BC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases
  • Coordinate and plan daily operations, including budgeting and expenditures
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and colleagues
  • Train and develop staff members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Arrange travel and related itineraries for employees and clients
  • Perform data entry and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Consult with clients to provide ongoing support and resolve any issues
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
