About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at PPH Restaurants Inc. as a Head Cook. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies.
  • Kitchen Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation and service.
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support personnel.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food meets our high standards.
    • Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
    • Monitor and control food costs to ensure profitability.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols.
    • Conduct regular health and safety inspections to identify and address any potential issues.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience
    • At least 2 years of experience as a cook or in a related role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a restaurant setting and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail at all times.
