About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at PPH Restaurants Inc. as a Head Cook. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet the high standards of our restaurant, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and that food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all dishes are prepared to order and that customers are satisfied with their meals.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role, but a strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety is essential.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Work Setting: This role will be based in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and preparing high-quality meals.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with a focus on attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
