We are looking for a committed and seasoned HR Business Partner to join our Human Relations team and play a vital role in supporting The Salvation Army.

In the capacity of an HR Business Partner, you will have the chance to advise employees and leaders on the implementation of HR strategies related to job evaluations, performance management, labor relations, workplace investigations, employee relations, and much more.

The HR Business Partners execute the HR strategy, customizing solutions to meet Divisional/MU needs, delivering mission partner solutions and programs at the MU level, and supporting performance management and mission partner cycles.

They also provide specialized HR guidance to leaders and collaborate with the Service Centre on escalated inquiries and transactions.

Qualifications:
- Completion of a university degree in social sciences, human resources, or a related field.
- Completion or progress towards a valid HR designation.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a human resources generalist role.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant HR legislation and regulations, including the Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Workplace Safety and Insurance Act.
- Familiarity with human resources information systems; Workday preferred.
- Proficiency in computer and Microsoft applications.
- Experience in labor relations is an asset.
