Job Overview

Nexus Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting, with a strong understanding of manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. You will be expected to prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and maintain general ledgers and financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Asset Management: Calculate and record fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: College or non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
