Regional Sales Director

OSL Retail Services is a leading provider of customized sales solutions in retail, direct sales, merchandising, and customer acquisition. We are seeking an experienced sales leader to drive growth and advance market share for the Samsung brand in the Montreal South Shore region.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate and results-driven Field Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our regional sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with front-line sales associates at carrier-branded and national retail wireless locations.
Your primary objective will be to increase sales and market share for Samsung products and services by executing on the go-to-market strategy of the regional team. This includes:
- BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS ACROSS ALL LEVELS OF CARRIER AND NATIONAL RETAILER ORGANIZATIONS TO DRIVE INFLUENCE AND MIND SHARE FOR SAMSUNG PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
- ENSURING ALL INTERACTIONS WITH RETAIL PARTNERS ARE DRIVEN TOWARDS INCREASING SALES AND MARKET SHARE FOR SAMSUNG
- EXECUTING ON THE GO-TO-MARKET STRATEGY OF THE REGIONAL TEAM TO ENSURE ATTAINMENT OF ALL KPI'S & METRICS THAT IMPACT PERFORMANCE. SALES, TRAINING, STORE VISITS ETC.
- COMMUNICATING AND REPORTING ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PRODUCT LAUNCHES AND SPECIAL PROMOTIONS WHILE EXECUTING ON THE LAUNCH
- CONDUCTING AND ATTENDING TRAINING SESSIONS, MEETINGS, EVENTS ON BEHALF OF SAMSUNG
- GATHERING MARKET ANALYSIS AND REPORTING ON MARKET TRENDS OF HOW SAMSUNG PRODUCTS ARE PERCEIVED AND PERFORMING IN THE MARKET
- COMPLETING DAILY STORE VISIT PRODUCTIVITY REPORTS AS WELL AS WEEKLY AND MONTHLY ACTIVITY REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
- PLANNING AND FACILITATING TRAINING AND LAUNCH MEETINGS TO ENSURE ALL RETAIL SALES DISTRIBUTION GROUPS ARE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE SUCCESSFUL SAMSUNG PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND SALES EFFECTIVENESS
- TRAINING AND COACHING CARRIER RETAIL NATIONAL RETAIL SALES REPS, AS WELL AS PROVIDING SALES SUPPORT THROUGH OFFERING BUSINESS ADVICE AND PRODUCT CONSULTATION
- ENSURING SAMSUNG PRODUCT STOCK LEVELS AND MERCHANDISING REQUIREMENTS MEET PRODUCT DEMAND AND ESCALATING ISSUES DIRECTLY TO SAMSUNG TO RECTIFY
- SUPPORTING SAMSUNG MARKETING AND BRAND INITIATIVES THROUGH MAINTAINING DIRECT CONTACT WITH DISTRIBUTION POINTS OF SALE IN MARKET
- RESOLVING ISSUES THAT AFFECT SAMSUNG BRAND INTEGRITY AND BRAND PRESENCE
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- MINIMUM 4+ YEARS IN A MULTI-UNIT RETAIL AND OR FIELD SALES ENVIRONMENT
- 2+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN THE WIRELESS INDUSTRY
- EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF RETAIL, MARKETING, AND SALES
- EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS; ATTENTION TO DETAIL; PROCESS DRIVEN
- EXCELLENT CONCEPTUAL AND STRATEGIC THINKING ABILITIES
- EXCELLENT ANALYTICAL SKILLS
As a valued member of our team, you can expect:
