Job DescriptionThe Sales Manager, Eastern Canada plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction in our region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with customers, and coaching and training our sales team to achieve outstanding results.
This is a field-based role that requires extensive travel across Eastern Canada, with approximately 70% of your time spent on the road and 30% working remotely with the management team, direct reports, and customers as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business objectives, leveraging your expertise in sales and market trends.
- Lead and coach a high-performing team of Territory Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences to drive sales growth and customer loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Professional Affairs, Finance, and Marketing, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop targeted sales strategies.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in the healthcare or medical products industries.
- Demonstrable experience in defining and achieving sales results using acute business acumen.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in coaching and developing sales teams.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
