Salary & BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide coordination support to project managers for the overall life-cycle of engineering design and construction projects. This includes preparation, monitoring, and execution of project plans, reports, proposals, contracts, electronic project set-up and maintenance, client invoice review and tracking, and budget analysis using Dillon's financial management system.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in project administration or construction management, with a background in engineering or civil preferred. A post-secondary education in business administration or project management related program is considered an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent attention to detail, professional verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Assist project managers with preparation, monitoring, and execution of project plans, reports, proposals, contracts, electronic project set-up and maintenance, client invoice review and tracking, and budget analysis
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to track, verify, and process sub-consultant/sub-contractor invoices
- Support project managers with document control programs, tracking requests for information, setting up project team meetings, and facilitating responses to information from technical teams
- Attend project meetings to record and distribute meeting minutes, participate in client meetings, and liaise with various departments within our client groups
- Provide enhanced and embedded project support to meet unique project requirements
- 5 years project administration/project coordination/construction management related experience with a background in engineering, civil preferred
- Post-secondary education in a business administration or project management related program is considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent attention to detail, professional verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, and strong interpersonal skills
