Multiquip Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality products, seeks a skilled Field Service Manager to oversee the company's field service programs for Canada. This critical role serves as the primary point of contact between Multiquip, customers, and service providers, ensuring seamless service, training, and parts support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day service operations for MQ Construction and Power Generation Equipment, scheduling customer training, handling customer inquiries, and monitoring product issues in the field.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, MQ service centers, and product managers to identify technical problems and report on unassigned products.
  • Report customer contact information, service issues, region activity, call reports, and itineraries through OnContact and Outlook.
  • Develop and maintain the MQ Authorized Service Center network in assigned regions.
  • Process product warranty claims within territory, including inspection, verification, and authorization.
  • Assist in developing training materials for assigned products.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to product managers using Market Information reporting systems.
  • Collaborate in creating and reviewing service bulletins, FAQs, parts/operation manuals, and service instructions.

    Requirements

    • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, with a company vehicle provided.
    • 3-5 years of experience in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical fields, with a focus on large to mid-size construction equipment and equipment manufacturers.
    • Fluency in both English and French.
    • Ability to read, analyze electrical and hydraulic schematics, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures.
    • Ability to write technical reports, business correspondence, and procedure instructions.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various instructions.
