Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, based on your experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a pension plan.
Job Description
As an Overnight Registered Nurse in the Short Stay Medical Unit, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide client-centered care to acutely ill, primarily geriatric patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership in the coordination and evaluation of nursing care
- Working collaboratively with community agencies to coordinate care and education of patients and their families
- Using evidence-based clinical practice and strong leadership in healthcare delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one (1) year nursing experience in a medical setting within the last 2 years
- Knowledge of current nursing assessment and management of adult and geriatric medicine patients
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and shifting demands
