Senior Nursing Manager for Long-Term Care

We are seeking a Senior Nursing Manager to lead our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to our residents.
This is a leadership role that requires strategic planning, guidance, and support to ensure the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care programs
- Supervise and coordinate the work of nursing staff
- Ensure effective admissions and discharges processes
- Collaborate with residents and their families to resolve concerns and suggestions
- Determine nursing staff requirements and select qualified personnel
- Provide daily healthcare assistance as needed
- Work closely with the Executive Director to direct, train, and schedule nursing personnel
- Complete required reports for Senior Management
- Maintain control and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics
Requirements:
- Current registration as Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Director of Care in a Long-Term Care Facility
- Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing is desirable
- Knowledge of the nursing process and possession of skills in planning, coordination, and supervision
- Valid driver's license and excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
